Airmar Boat Heading Sensor H2183 | Carver Yachts 6956029 Gray 10 Hz

Boat part number 8701799 is a new heading sensor from Airmar, model number H2183 . Commonly used on Carver Yachts, part number 6956029 , but can be used on other boats.

The H2183 has the ability to maintain 2°accuracy under dynamic motion conditions with it's three-axis rate gyro and three-axis accelerometer. It is designed to be used with NMEA 0183 and NMEA 2000 devices with only one cable. Hosts 10 Hz update rate. The compass feature can be easily calibrated on any display or PC.

This heading sensor is constructed out of gray marine grade plastic. Measures approximately 4 3/8" W x 4 1/2" H x 1 7/8" D overall. Mounts with (2) 1/4" Dia. mounting holes set apart 2 3/4" center to center. Hosts (6) wire lead connections.
