Boat part number 1106105 is a new, off the roll, increment of gray fin seal weatherstripping from Amesbury Group, part number 411816 .

Fin seal, also known as weatherseal, draft seal, and weatherstripping, is commonly used on boat sliding cabin entry doors and windows to prevent rain and water from entering, and to keep interior air in, saving energy on heating and air conditioning.

This extruded pile weatherstripping with fin is 100% polypropylene and provides a very effective barrier against air, water, dust and noise; sealing against even and uneven surfaces with resistance to abrasion. The pile fibers are resistant to acid, alkaline, mold, mildew and corrosion as well as being silicone treated to repel water.

This seal measures approximately 3/16" W x 3/8" H and is constructed of gray colored polypropylene.

Hello Susan,

I'm afraid not. The seal came to us as is, with no instructions. About all we can suggest is to contact the manufacturer.

Sorry we could not help.
