Product Questions

I have a Perko Vented fuel fill on my Scout boat. I'm having a problem with backwash when filling the tank and have to fill it slowly. On the side of the boat below the fuel fill is one of these Attwood flush vents. What exactly is the purpose of the flush vent?
Question by: MARK MILICI on Nov 16, 2022, 11:52 AM
Hi Mark,

We aren't dealers and don't do any sort of servicing, but I did find this online if it helps:

"Flush Mount Fuel Vents allow air to flow in and out of the tank because tank levels and temperatures change. This is critical to prevent blow-back while filling a tank or vacuum build-up when drawing from the tank."

ATTWOOD BOAT FLUSH VENT 66034-1 Does this screw in to replace the Atwood plastic vent cap on a 2012, model 1675 Lund impact?
Question by: Chris on May 18, 2021, 4:05 PM
Hello Chris,

Since we are not dealers, I'm afraid we have no way to cross reference thh unit to specific boats or other Attwood parts. All we can suggest is to contact a dealer.

Sorry we could not help.
