Boat part number 1072643 is a new #7 slip ring penetrating fluke anchor from Attwood, part number 9961-1 .
This 5 1/2 lb. slip-ring fluke anchor is constructed out of hot dip galvanized steel and measures approximately 12 5/8" L x 9 1/4" W x 15 1/8" H overall. These anchors feature a slip-ring shank for easy retrieval of a snagged anchor.
Penetrating fluke anchors dig into mud, sand, or gravel, and stow flat. Pivoting flukes rotate downward into bottom. Excellent weight-to-holding-power ratio, compared to cast anchors. All Attwood penetrating anchors are manufactured of hot dip galvanized steel for corrosion resistance and strength. The assembly is arc-welded steel that maintains consistent fluke-to-shank angles, ensuring quick penetration and a firm hold.

Product Questions
what lenth boat is this anchor approved for?
Question by: David Smith on Jun 4, 2020, 4:23 PM
Hi David,
There is not a specific rating for it. I would recommended 15 ft and under when the right amount of line is deployed. No matter the size boat, at the very least 3-1 should be let out. So 10 feet of water, 30 feet of line. If you have any further questions, feel free to contact back.
