This slide mechanism is constructed out of stainless steel with a polished finish. Measures approximately 17" W x 18 1/2" H x 13 1/2" D overall when upright. It has (4) 1/4" Dia. and (4) 3/8" Dia. mounting holes (hardware not included). See photos for additional measurements.

just wondering if this is for the seat that is in the walk through to the bow of the boat? For seats that can be raised for a backrest and then lowered again when needed to be flat?

We aren't Axix dealers, and I'm afraid we do not know where exactly they were meant to go or how exactly they function. You'd need to either contact a dealer and give them that 5645025 part number, or just go by the measurements in the ad.
