This bracket is constructed out of stainless steel. Measures approximately 2 1/2" H X 2 1/8" W overall with a 3/8" mounting ball on one side. There are (3) 1/4" mounting holes.
Mounting brackets are used as attachment points for gas springs on hatches and other mounting surfaces where the mounting surface is not strong enough to support the direct attachment of a gas spring using a threaded stud or the angle and position of the attachment point requires the need for a mounting bracket.
