Product Questions

I have a 03 396 motor yacht and the generator shuts off after running for a while. I had a place look at it and they told me that they think it’s the muffler/ water separator. Personally I have No Clue where the water is supposed to come out of the boat. I thought out the exhaust but no water is coming out of it. So then I thought underneath the boat. I have no clue. So basically I’m asking could it be the separator tank?

Hi Mike,

Honestly, we aren't the people to ask. We aren't dealers - we purchase surplus and overstocks - so we don't have a "tech" dept. or do any sort of installations/servicing and really can't trouble shoot something like that. What we would recommend is finding an on line Carver owners forum or two and post the question there. You're more likely to get a straight answer from another owner I think.
