Product Questions

do you have a 12ft Detmar rack cable ?
Question by: James White on May 9, 2021, 8:05 PM
Hi James,
Detmar cables have been obsolete for a pretty long time now. I would strongly suggest switching over to the current Teleflex Seastar rack system attached below:

Thanks!

Do you have a detmar 11 ft flat rack cable or do you know where to find one?
Question by: Smith Ron on Apr 19, 2021, 10:36 PM
Hello Smith,
Unfortunately those detmar cables are obsolete and we do not have an 11' cable. I have attached a link below to the new style 11' rack steering system that we do have in stock. If you have any other questions please be sure to contact back. Thank you and have a great day!

97a 12ft cable for steering. Travler sea nymph
Question by: Leah Cremeans on Apr 6, 2021, 2:25 PM
Hello Leah,

I'm afraid we have no way to cross reference steering cables to specific boats. For us to assist, we would need either the part numbers off the old cables, or photos of each cable tip and length of black jacket coating only. You can reply to this email with photos.

Thank you,

Gene
