Boat part number 8701317 is a new KW40 model cam-action generator selector switch from Electroswitch, part number KW40-2204C6-1 . Commonly used on Marquis Yachts, part number 8951704 , but may be used on other boats.

This cam-action rotary switch is flush mount and features a subtle design with a modern aesthetic. It is constructed from black marine grade plastic with a silver colored brushed face plate and black pointer knob. This is a 3-position AFT/OFF/FORWARD switch and is rated at 40A and 600V.

This generator selector switch measures approximately 3 1/2" W x 3 1/2" H x 6" D overall. The switch face plate measures approximately 2 5/8" W x 2 5/8" H, and the mount backing plate measures approximately 3 1/2" W x 3 1/2" H. It requires a cutout of approximately 2 1/4" Dia. and has several mounting holes for a variety of mounting options.
