Product Questions

How many baffles does this tank have?
Question by: Lanny Sheffield on Mar 19, 2022, 11:51 AM
Hi Larry,

This is stored at a fulfilment location, so I can't say with 100% certainty, but I believe it is three, going by the weld marks across the width. You can also contact the manufacturer to see what they say.

I have a sun tracker fun fish 20 ft. 75 HP motor. It sit very low in the water because of motor and 20 fuel tank and 2 batteries all mounted on the stern. I wanted to change to an aluminum under deck fuel tank, so that I could move it forward for balancing the weight. I see you have one priced at $199.00. Does it come with a sending unit? What would be the best was to mount it? Do you know of any safety issues?
Question by: David Partain on May 5, 2020, 8:41 PM
Hi David,
This will have a sending unit that will read 30-240 ohms (incredibly common). In terms of mounting, just depends how you want to do it. A welder could weld brackets anywhere on the tank, so depending on how far you are willing to go, there are certainly some options.

If you are looking at trying to get some more flotation, I would suggest looking into getting a center log. Give it some thought and let me know what you are thinking!
