Boat part number 8402084 is a new OEM mushroom screened thru hull seacock valve from Forespar, part number 931544 . Commonly used on MasterCraft Boats, part number 300496 , but may be used on other boats.

This seacock valve is constructed out of black colored Marelon plastic which has a temperature range of -40 F to +80 C, making them reliable in every climate and season. Features a "OFF/FLOW/OFF" lever. It measures approximately 8 1/2" L x 3 1/2" W x 5" H overall and has (2) 1" OD barbed hose connections. It has the max thru hull thickness of 1 5/8" and requires a cutout measuring approximately 1 5/8" Dia.

if I was to take apart the 4 screws at the top, would the complete ball valve come off and let water in the boat? The boat is in the water.

Hi Raymond,
You should be able to turn the valve to block the flow, however I would not suggest doing that in the water. Its really just not worth it. Strongly suggest taking the extra pre-caution to pull the boat out and do it with ease. Hope this helps, and if you have any further questions, feel free to contact back.
