Boat part number 8200959 is a new, off the roll, increment of Vintage NK Safari 3/16" welting from Four Winns Boats, part number 046-0844 .
Puff cord welting (also called seat cord or welt piping) is used to join two pieces of material together at the seam during an upholstery project, giving your boat seat an elegant professional finish. Simply insert between two fabric pieces with the puff edge remaining visible and sew. Commonly used on edges of arm rests and seat cushions.
This puff cord welting has a piece of 3/16" white hard plastic foam tubing running through it. Manufacturer calls this 6/32", however we measure it to be approximately 3/4" W x 1/4" H overall.
Manufacturer calls this Vintage NK safari, we see it closer to an beige color.
