What is UG cushion backing and how does it compare to other backings.

Hello Donna,
The backing itself is basically a blown PVC. We aren't able to tell you much more about that I'm afraid. You see, we aren't dealers/distributors - we purchase overstock and excess marine accessories. This link may help - it is to the mfgr. FAQ page:

We do charge $10.95 for flooring samples (if in the lower 48 states, but you can get up to three for that. To order, you'd need to call our customer service team at 262-898-1855, M-F, 8:30-5:00 central time.
