Boat part number 1010252 is a new interior cabin light from ITC, part number 181928 .
This light is constructed out of plated brass. Measures approximately 3 1/2" Dia. x 1" D overall. This surface mount light is plated with gold color and includes a bee's eye lens and 10 watt halogen bulb with an on/off switch. Includes (2) mounting screws with the mounts being approximately 1 3/4" apart center on center.

Hi Bob,
Yes, the center section does pop out so you can screw the "base" into the wall. I'm going to get a photo taken showing it apart that shows it clearly.
