This access plate is constructed from glass filled polypropylene with a textured finish on the face. The manufacturer calls color Surf Gray, we see it more of a Sandy Gray color. The manufacturer calls this a 4" plate, we measure it to be approximately 6" OD with a 4 1/2" Dia. cutout. Reuires (6) pan head self-tapping screws (not included).
