This fabric has a repeating black and gold circle motif, a sort of intertwined swirl design. See photos for example.

Hello Valarie,
I'm afraid we don't know the breakdown. When we get fabric from boat makers as surplus, it almost never has any sort of data sheet. It's most likely some sort of polyester blend.
