This mounting gas spring has a steel rod with a Nitride coating for added corrosion resistance. It has plastic ends with locking clips to receive 10mm (3/8") ball mounts and measures approximately 14 1/2" L extended and 9 1/2" L compressed - from mounting hole to mounting hole. In addition it has a PSI of 35-lbs.
