Boat part number 8402693 is a new, off the roll, increment of puff cord / seat cord / welt piping welting from MasterCraft Boats, part number 693732 . May be used on other boats.
Welting, also called puff cord, seat cord or welt piping because of the round edge, is a fabric-covered cord made of upholstery fabric. Welting is sewn with a fabric lip to insert it between fabric pieces with the puff edge remaining visible. It's often used on the edges of arm rests and seat cushions. Has relief cuts.
Manufacturer calls this Stealth Gray, we see it closer to a light gray color.
This puff cord has a piece of foam plastic tubing running through it, which we measure to be approximately 1/4" W. Measures approximately 1/4" W x 5/8" H overall.
