Product Questions
About this MERCURY QUICKSILVER BOAT TRIM SENDER KIT 822573A12 | OUTBOARD? I have a 2006 25hp 4stroke Merc Serial# OR165516 / MODEL 1A25413FK. I’m not certain if it ever had a Trim sender wiring kit?
I bought the 5 pin wiring harness that goes to the side mount throttle shifter-and- a Faria Trim Guage .
After plugging it in I tested for ground, 12v current successfully. Then I tested the the Guage first to make sure it works (ground to the signal wire).
I followed the Faria Tech Support directions explicitly on the Trim Gauge and got No resistance readings when I run the motor up or down. He said the Trim Sender is probably the culprit. So…. 1- Where the hell is it? I looked on both sides of the motor around the trim motor and hydraulic sleeve.
2- Is this the right one for my motor listed above to order from you?
3- I’ll send pics if you need them? Just say where…. Thanks!

Hi Tyson,
Honestly, we aren't the people to ask. We aren't dealers/distributors - we purchase surplus and overstocks - so we can't trouble shoot issues or cross reference Mercury or Faria components. I'd have to believe a Mercury dealer would be the best contact.
Sorry we could not help.
