This is a front mount 1.5 cubic inch displacement tilt steering helm. Has a tilt range of 48 degrees and 5 locking positions. Approximately 5 turns lock to lock for singles and 10 on dual cylinders. Features a compact design, built-in valve for positive rudder lock, and integral relief valve for over pressure protection.
Used on:
Verado 135 - 175 Fourstroke engines
Can also be used on OptiMax with Mercury hydraulic cylinder and hoses

Hello Daunier,
I'm afraid we are not able to cross reference Mercury hydraulic components to specific motors. However, we believe it will only work with outboards up to 175 MPH. You may want to check with a Mercury dealer to be sure.

Will this work on a 250 hp verado? Description says up to 175 hp!
