Boat part number 1102578 is a new sheet of polypropylene honeycomb core material from Plascore, part number unavailable. Commonly used on Marquis Yachts, part number 8210010 , but may be used on other boats.
This polypropylene honeycomb core is white and pre-scored on one side. It features approximate 1" squares and an approximate 1/4" Dia. honeycomb pattern. The sheet measures approximately 48" L x 24" W x 3/8" H overall.
Per the manufacturer, this material uses include sandwich panel cores, energy absorption, and filtration media.

Gosh, we don't think so. It's just a lightweight polypropelene - here is what the manufacturer says:
Applications: PP polypropylene honeycomb uses include sandwich panel cores, energy absorption and filtration media.
You could though, contact Plascore directly to see what they think.
