Hello Dennis,
Yes, it can, but it is recommended to partially step on the frame as well as the door. It'll support the weight but it's just kind of a given that's what it best when it comes to plastic hatches.

Will this fit on a 2016 Tracker Grizzly 1648sc?
Question by: David Ramsey on Jun 14, 2022, 7:46 PM
Hi David,
I'm sorry, but we do not know. We aren't able to cross reference the hatches we have to specific boats. You'd pretty much need to just go by the measurements in the ad.

is this hatch watertight?
Question by: Louis Ariante on Aug 20, 2022, 3:03 PM
Hello Louis,
It is designed to withstand normal spray and rain, but they are not considered "watertight." None of the deck hatches we have are considered truly watertight.

Can the door be unclipped from the hatch mounting to be reattached to the old mounting? My hinge broke so just the door needs replaced. Or better yet do you have just the door?
Question by: Bryce Oliver on Feb 26, 2023, 1:15 PM
Hello Bryce,
Unfortunately, we don't have just the lid/door and I highly doubt Bomar (Pompanette) offers it that way. It isn't made to come apart, so I don't know how you'd do it. Sorry.
