This anchor chain stop works with the anchor roller to take tension off your windlass. Windlasses are not designed to hold high loads while at anchor. When the windlass is not in use and the boat is anchor , the chain should be secured by using a chain stopper or the rope should be attached to a load bearing point like a cleat.

This anchor chain stop is constructed out of polished stainless steel and measures approximately 3 1/2" L x 3" H x 2 5/8" W overall. Mounting plate included, it measures approximately 3 1/8" W x 2 3/4" L. Features a 5/8" pin.
