Will this Sea Star rack and pinion kit (SS14115) replace a Teleflex cable SSC12415. A direct replacement cable appears to be unavailable.

Hello Jim,
I believe the SSC12415 is the old style wide rack, and yeah, that cable is going to be difficult to find. This system should be a fine replacement.

I have a 2011 tracker proguide 175with Mercury 115 outboard. The existing helm is markes with 3950210 and the cable is SSC13415 TFX USA 111931. Will this kit work for a direct replacement. Thanks

I'm very sorry, but we are not able to cross reference steering systems/components to specific boats. About all we can suggest is to either contact Seastar or a Bayliner dealer.

I am very sorry, but we have no way to cross reference steering systems to specific boats. If you can get the part numbers of your old cables, we could try that way. Otherwise we would need photos of each cable end, and the lengthh of the black jacket coating.
