Product Questions
If I need to trim the plexiglass, can this be done? Can you advise best method? Thanks to advise.
Question by: James Wichmann on Sep 7, 2023, 1:05 PM
Hello James,
We've never attempted it, or are aware of anyone who did it, so we really can't say one way or another. For what it's worth, I did a google search for "can a plexiglass windshield be trimmed" and it appears you can, and there are a number of articles and even videos, if interested.

I needed a white windbreak for a 1998 24ft baja h2x can you make one and what is the price thank you
Question by: Scherry on Aug 25, 2023, 1:45 PM
Hello Scherry,
I'm afraid we don't make windshields - or anything - we purchase overstocks & closeouts - so all we can offer is whatever we currently show on our site. Unfortunately, we don't show anything specific to your Baja, and it isn't something we can source or order.
Sorry we could not help.

Will this windshield fit a 1987 harbor master 520 coastal?
Question by: Todd on Jun 16, 2023, 5:50 PM
Hello Todd,
I'm afraid we aren't able to cross reference the windshield to specific boats. You'd need to either contact a dealer and give them that 70004200 part number, or just go by the measurements in the ad.
Sorry we could not help.

Do you have windscreen for 1996 Moomba Boomerang?
Question by: Bradford K BERGAM on Apr 18, 2023, 4:11 PM
Hello Bradford,
Unfortunately, we don't currently show one specific to your Boomerang and it isn't something we can source/order.
Going back to 96, I'm afraid we aren't aware of any retailers who might have "on the shelf" anymore. You may need to either find someone to make one, or find one close and use it. That option isn't as daunting as it sounds.
Here is a link that shows how we measure them:
https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/6rAAAOSwv0VimObt/s-l500.jpg
The single most important measurement is the 82". That is center to center of the port/starboard radius. If you can find one that matches yours, there is a good chance it will work. The height, and to an extent the length can usually vary, and the width across the back as well, because the back can flex so much.
If interested, here is a link to all we currently have:
http://greatlakesskipper.com/boat-parts/windshields-glass-parts
Note too: If you find one you feel may work, we can offer a foot print template for $20 (if in the lower 48 states) which is refunded if the windshield is purchased.
Hope this helps!
