This a digital adapter for Sony XM-ready radios, and is extremely compact and will install easily behind your dash or in any other convenient location. Direct connect for true digital sound quality. Control XM channels with your Sony car / boat stereo using the same buttons, knobs and display. Measures approximately 3 1/2" L x 3 1/8" W x 1 1/4" D overall. Mounts with (4) slotted mounting holes. Has (1) 8-pin male connector, (2) each left and right RCA connections, and (1) additional connector.

NOTE: When using the XMDSON100 adapter, the sound settings, such as bass, treble, balance, fader, and sub level, on some Sony receivers may revert to factory settings when you switch from XM to another source and back. Channel presets and equalizer presets, however, will continue to operate properly.
