Product Questions

This UFLEX BOAT STEERING WHEEL 42843S, I want to make sure that the entire frame of the wheel is constructed out of stainless steel and the polyurethane grip wraps the steel. I need a wheel that is more rigid. Thanks

Hi Colin,

Honestly not sure if that is the case or not. We aren't UFLEX dealers, and really can't tell. About all we can suggest is to contact UFLEX USA directly.

Sorry we could not tell you more.

I am looking for a replacement for my 2007 Tahoe Sundeck 216. Would this be a good fit or do you have recommendations please. Thank you
Question by: Rob Burgio on Aug 8, 2021, 10:01 PM
Hi Rob,

That wheel should be just fine, but we would suggest you pop your old wheel off to be sure it has a key way mount like this one. Chances are like 99% it will though.

A key way mount has one, two or three slots (this wheel has just the one - look at back side view) The other type of mount is splined and it would look like a prop shaft.

Thanks,

Gene
