Boat part number 8201246 is a new, off the roll, increment of gel white colored 5/8" hidem from Wellcraft Boats, part number 046-0921 .
Hidem (or Hydem) welt trim is used to hide the staples underneath your boat seats in boat seat upholstery projects. Simply pull the welt apart, staple through the welt and material into the bottom of the seat, and your staples will be hidden from view giving your boat seat a beautiful professional finish.
Manufacturer calls this 5/8" hidem, we measure it to be approximately 3/4" H x 1/8" D overall.
Manufacturer calls this gel white, we see it closer to an off white in color.
