Sorry, this one is fixed and doesn't open. It does include a trim ring though.

how thick is the plexiglass? As I need a new one to go on port stern side for bedroom, as not that high above water line needs something that will withstand rough waves in a storm. if this will not work, can you suggest a fixed port that will. thanks in advance

Hi Dennis,
It's about 3/16" thick. As far as being able to tell you what is needed, I'm afraid we aren't the people to ask. We purchase surplus and overstocks, so we don't do installations/servicing, and don't have any specs for something like that. We might suggest contacting Bomar directly. They are the largest maker & importer of port windows in the industry.
