will this replace the dash in my 1997 182 bowrider?

I'm sorry, but we do not know. We are not dealers and cannot cross reference the panel to specific boats. You could try contacting a dealer and give them the 61772 Crownline part number - they may be able to tell you. Otherwise you may need to just go by the measurements in the ad.

I have a 1996 182 BR and need the dash panel will this one work for my boat and also I need to recover it in white vinyl to match will this come apart easy enough to recover?

As far as covering it, I don't think you'd actually be able to "remove" anything on it. You'd need to somehow adhere the vinyl to the surface, and honestly, we don't know how that would work.
