I have a 2019 Ranger Tug R23. How do I lock the escape hatch in the fwd cabin. I see the white latch on the latch but it won’t slide to lock. On either of the hatches. Jerry
Question by: Jerry Williams on May 24, 2023, 3:23 PM
Hello Jerry,

Since we aren't Ranger dealers, we aren't familar with that specific hatch. If it's a Jim Black like this one, that white piece on the handle IS the lock that should slide back and forth to lock and unlock. If it doesn't the hatch may not be closed/sealed all the way, or the handles could simply have worn out. We don't do any sort of servicing, so those are about the only two options we could think of.

i am looking for a hatch and trim ring, my cutout size is 20-1/4 in
Question by: perry on May 11, 2023, 9:24 AM
Hello Perry,

Closest we can offer is the Jim Black hatch with a 20" diameter cut out at this link:

Going to be AWFULLY close - like 1/8" around. You might very well be able to use some sort of gasket or filler to make up the gap.
