What is the recommended method/material to attach the flooring to plywood?

Hello Jason!
A simple water proof contact cement available at any big box hardware store is more than sufficient. Our sister retail store has an upholstery dept., and that is what they have used for years.

The specs say it’s 8 1/2 ft wide but doesn’t say how long.

Yes. A simple water proof contact cement works well. No reason to spend big $$ on marine stuff.

I'm very sorry, but we have no way to calculate that. That being said, I would think you'd need at least 25 feet to account for waste.
