This prop shaft is constructed out of 1 1/8" Dia. stainless steel and hosts (1) single-notch female keyway. Measures approximately 45 1/2" L overall. The coupler measures approximately 5" Dia. x 2 3/4" L. Mounts with (4) 3/8" dia. holes set apart 3" center to center.

Hello Joan,
Most are, but we also have quite a few that are test props. They were used by boat makers in a controlled environment. Each ad will say whether they are new, test props and sometimes we'll have used as well.

Does the prop shaft measurement include the coupler. I'm looking for a 41 7/8 x 1 1/8 shaft. fits a 1988 Mastercraft prostar 190. All I'm finding are 45 1/2 x 1 1/8

Yes, I'm afraid that does include the coupler. Unfortunately, we don't currently have anything 41 7/8 x 1 1/8" diameter at this time. Sorry.
