Boat part number 1006129 is a new trim gauge from Mercury Quicksilver, part number 825290 .

This illuminated trim gauge features a domed lens, black bezel, black face, white needle, and white text with blue accents.
Measures approximately 2 1/4 Dia. across the face including bezel. Requires an approximate 2" Dia. cutout. Connects with (3) threaded bolts.
Mounting bracket included.

Set up for Mercury / Volvo engines.

We are almost certain it will, but you may want to check with a Mercury dealer to be sure. There seems to be a bit of gray area on pre-98 drives.

I have a 1988 60hp Mariner outboard 2 cycle gas , oil mixture serial # 0B371046. I am also checking on which tach may work also. Tx for your help.

Hi Kevin,

When it comes to Mariner trim gauges, there can be some gray area, so recommend contacting a dealer directly on that. As far as the tach goes, pretty much any 12 pole tachomter will do the trick. Most everything we have that is 7000 RPM will be a 12 pole, but you'd want to check the ad to be sure. Here is a link to the tachometers:
