This left gate latch is constructed out of marine grade plastic. Measures approximately 2 3/4" long x 1 7/8" wide x 1 1/4" deep overall (without handle). Has an inside measurement of approximately 1 1/4", and has (3) total 1/4" diameter cutouts.

Can you describe "LEFT HAND." If I'm standing inside the pontoon boat, and the door has a right side hinge, and the door opens inward (towards me), do I want the LEFT HAND or the RIGHT HAND latch?

Honestly - we don't know how exactly these mount. We aren't dealers, and these came to as as surplus from Premier. Unfortunately, they didn't come with any sort of installation instructions. Just a tag that indicated left hand. About all we can suggest is to contact a dealer.
