This extendable cover support pole is constructed out of 7/8" Dia. aluminum and measures approximately 24 1/2" - 41 1/2" H overall. Hosts (1) 3/8" Dia. and (1) rubber foot at each end.

Is this the size boat cover support pole that fits the Captiva 196? I have two support poles that are not working as well as they have been and want to replace them with new ones.

I am unable to look up and cross reference that information. They are a common size, so there is a good chance. The best way to decipher would be to measure from the ground up to where the cover should be. Let me know, thank you!
