Boat part number 1057162 is a new full cover gas deck fill from Southco, part number M7-23-9106909 .
This 30° angled deck fill is constructed from stainless steel with a polished finish and spring loaded cap retention cable. It measures approximately 3 1/8" W x 5 1/2" H x 5" D overall. The cover measures approximately 3 1/8" Dia., and it requires a cutout of approximately 1 7/8" Dia. It has (1) 5/8" Dia. vented barb connection and (1) 2" Dia. hose connection. Mounts with (4) 1/8" Dia. mounting holes.

Do you make one that has the word diesel on the cap? I saw your other ones but none of then have the the fill vent with it

Does this mount from underneath so that you don't have to cut a bigger hole for the vent?

These came to us with no instructions, but the consensus here is that you'd need to mount from the top. You could however contact Southco to see if they say something different.
