Boat part number 1089494 is a NEW rotary Teleflex QC 15 ft. steering kit, part number SS13715. Provides the quick response of 3-turn steering and easy installation with a patented, no-tools cable connection at the helm Helm accepts wheels up to 16 diameter.
For single station use only. Single-cable configuration. Kit contains helm, (uses a 3/4 standard tapered keyway) 90° bezel and cable (but we have 20 degree bezels available - please call us!) This kit contains everything shown in the photo. Note- this is a NEW system with full factory warranty, but may not come in the box shown in photo.

Will this work on my 1977 Hurricane Deck boat. I thought the old cable measured around 16 foot but it's pretty chewed up and hard to tell.

Hello Ike,
Yes this will work, when measuring these cables you will want to measure the black coating only, then add 18" and add that total up to the nearest foot length.
