I have a new Kuumu, and some kind of thermostatic valve screwed into the cold inlet of my 6 gallon water heater tank.
the plastic screw cap broke. I need one of this but I don't understand why its hookup in cold intake pipe. this pipe
never get hot.. shouldn't this thermostatic mixing valve inline in the hot out of the heater tank? Pleae explain sir..
