Hello, I am interested in this live well with a lid. Can you verify if a lid is available-prefer white or clear but color doesn’t matter.

Unfortunately we do not currently have a lid for the unit, and it isn't something we can source or order. All we can suggest is to get a piece of marine starboard plastic, cut to size, and add a hinge. "Starboard" is durable plastic used by boat makers in a variety of ways. Strong and easy to work with. All we have available is something quite large - see link below - but it is readily found around the web if interested.

I ordered one of these 40 gallon livewells but I could not find any details about its construction other than it’s made of “marine grade plastic”
- Is the tank single wall or double ?
-What is the thickness of the marine grade plastic ?
-Are there holes drilled for fittings (sea water intake & overflow discharge)
My plan is to use the tank as a Mold.
It’s got the perfect shape I’m looking for.
Plan to wrap the outside bottom & sides completely with foam board insulation then fiberglass over the entire tank outside, encapsulating the entire tank then fit & fiberglass tank into transom of my boat. Finish off with gelcoat. Then plumb fittings with intake coming in from bottom & overflow closet to top. Addition bottom fitting for drain with shut off valve.

Unfortunatley we do not know the wall thickness or how many layer it is as we are not the manufacture. Also, there are not any holes drilled into the livewell. If you have any other questions please let us know! Thank you and have a great day!

Hello Howard,
We believe this was intended to be a drop in tank, either in some gunnel or console area, but since they came to us with no instructions, we cannot say for sure. I'm afraid it's pretty much going to be up to you to decide how to best install in your particular application. There aren't any mounting brackets, or anything like that.
