This Bomar hatch is constructed of heavy duty acrylic and has white coated heavy duty aluminum frame. Measures approximately 27 1/2" W x 69 3/4" H x 2 1/4" D overall. The cutout is 26.25" W x 66.75" H per manufacturer (but we measures it 23 3/4" W x 66" H x 1 1/4" D). There is a brown protective layer on the hatch to prevent damages / scratches from storage and handling.
