What type of plastic are these covers? Need to plastic weld a broken piece on my top piece and want to use the compatible rod.

Hello Dave,
I'm afraid we don't know what specific plastic they are made from. A google search tells us that "The cowling on a boat is made from polyester fabrics, nylon-reinforced by fiberglass, or aluminum alloys" so it may contain some aluminum as well.
About all we can suggest is to contact a BRP dealer. Sorry we could not help.
