Will this tachometer work on a 2 stroke outboard motor? 1985 115hp Evinrude 4 cylinder

Hello Maynard,
Yes, the tach will work, but I saw a note in the Faria outboard application guide (see link below) that a voltage regulator is recommended. What exactly that means, we do not know. We would highly suggest contacting Faria directly to be sure.
