This tackle center is constructed out of artic white colored plastic with a textured finish. It measures approximately 17" W x 13" H x 11" D overall and requires a cutout approximately 15" W x 11" H x 10 3/8" D. It has (9) 1/4" Dia. countersunk mounting holes (hardware not included). Features a lift and twist T handle latch.

Is the lid strong enough to be walked on (floor mounted)?

Hello,
Assuming it is installed properly, it is designed for normal foot traffic. We never recommend "standing" on any type of plastic hatch, but normal walking is fine.
