Boat part number 8105664 is a new anchor strap from Lewmar, part number 66840027 . Commonly used on Tracker Boats, part number 186503 , but may be used on other boats.
Safety straps will prevent the Anchor from deploying if the Anchor is unintentionally released or powers out accidently. It is simply clipped on the chain, shackle or Anchor. They do not secure (hold tight) the Anchor in the bow roller.
This anchor strap cable is constructed out of PVC coated steel and measures approximately 12" L overall with hardware attached. Per manufacturer, it has a safe working load of 154lbs. Also includes a stainless steel carabiner and 5/8" Dia. eyelet.
