This rod holder is constructed out of black plastic tubing and white plastic flange. Manufacturer calls this 52" L, we measure it to be approximately 52 1/2" L x 3 1/2" OD overall. Requires an approximate 2 3/4" Dia. cutout and has an inner diameter of 2 3/8" ID. Mounts with (2) 1/4" Dia. holes, set apart 2 7/8" center to center.

These are stored at a fulfilment location, so I'm not certain, but typically they are NOT tapered. Sure doesn't look like they taper in the photos.
