Hi Mark,
I'm afraid we don't know exactly how it mounts. They came to us from Pursuit without and instructions. That being said, it looks like there are "L" brackets on each side with pre drilled holes that are most likely for mounting.
Wish we could tell you more, but we just don't know. Sorry.

Hello Mark,
This will mount on a flat surface exactly as it is shown in the first picture. This allows the seat cushion to flip up so you can store stuff under it. Unfortunately we do not have a picture of it installed on a boat. If you have any other questions please be sure to contact back.
