Teleflex Boat Speedometer Gauge 59713 | Lido 3 1/4 Inch Silver White

today i received the speedometer , order #401517. When i ordered this i said the one i was replacing was not a pitot type only threads. it appears the thread pattern is correct but i cannot install because of the pitot sticking out. everything else is perfect. please advise. order is under olivia hargan

Hi Norman,
Sounds like you have an electric paddle wheel type speedo. The speed is measured by how fast the wheel spins. As the boat moves faster in the water, the paddle wheel spins faster and faster registering your speed. To be sure though, if you want to email a photo showing the back of your current speedo, we'd be happy to take a look
Unfortunately we don't currently have any speedometers that work with your paddle wheel pick up under your boat.

I'm interested in the teleflex speedometer 59713. Is the silver bezel anything like the chrome bezel found on the teleflex sahara 58400 chrome bezel with beige face?

Hello Franco,
I think the 59713 has more of a matte finish than the 58400. Howver, we do have the one at the link below, that IS the same as the 58400.
