How does this casting seat mount?

Hi Bob,
It would typically mount to one of these types of pedestals:

link: https://www.greatlakesskipper.com/marine-boat-adjustable-seat-pedestal-75306-w-swivel-13-18-inch
However, it could pretty much work on anything with a 5" x 5" mounting patern.
